New warehouse Huddersfield
New warehouse, Leeds Road, Huddersfield.
The derelict site was the former location for the St Saviours Mission. The site was purchased by a private developer and we were engaged to design, obtain planning and building regulations approvals and produce working drawings for a small ‘to let’ warehouse. The immediate Leeds Road area had been re-vitalised with the building of a number of contemporary styled high end car dealerships. Working with a tight budget the clients brief was for a building that could be used for the distribution or sales of small components or accessories to the automotive or similar industries with a contemporary design that reflected that type of industry.
