Conversion of a redundant bank into a solicitor’s office, Hemsworth, South Yorkshire.
An expanding firm of solicitors purchased this rundown property and engaged us to completely refurbish the building and design a new office that would change the public’s perception of family solicitors officers from stuffy, dusty, Dickensian places into something much brighter and appealing to modern tastes and reflecting the ambition of the practice.
We gained Planning and building regulations approvals, obtained tenders and managed the contract to completion. A practice partner confirmed that he judged the scheme a success when an elderly client confided that visiting the new office ‘made her feel important’.
